   陕西关中皮影，俗称“影子戏”，是用牛皮或驴皮硝制、刮磨、雕刻、彩绘、镶连而成，造型继承并融汇了汉画像石的宏大气派，宋代院体画的精致工丽，民间剪纸的装饰纹路，民间绘画之意象表现以及国画散点透视的效果，线条利落丰满，色彩鲜艳等特点。皮影戏始于先秦成于汉，盛于宋，明清极盛，每至暮色四合，鼓乐响起，昏黄的灯光下便演绎出一幕幕人生酸甜悲喜之剧，或执刀斗戈，顿足捶胸，或腾云驾雾、翩然起舞，无不惟妙惟肖，人物打盹酣睡，挥毫泼墨，形象传神，栩栩如生。音乐、灯光、配唱、旁白，一时间好不忙活，亭台搂阁，车马仪仗，年龄、身份、性格各有千秋。“一口能唱千古戏，双手对舞百万兵，”实乃电影电视界之鼻祖也，大诗人歌德先生曾誉为“世界电影之活化石，电影之前驱”。

Shaanxi Shadow Play, with the local name of “Shadow Drama”,use leatheror
donkey skin to nitrate*coloured drawing and connect stitch by stitch. The main
mould-making of this handicraft inherits and integrates smoothly the
magnificence of Han Painting, the exquisiteness and realism of Song academic
painting, the decorative lines of Folk Paper Cuts, the Idea performance of Folks
Painting, and the effect of scatter point clairvoyant of Chinese Painting. Its
lines are neat and plump, and its color is resplendent. Shadow Play began in Qin
Dynasty, formed in Han Dynasty, prospered in Song Dynasty and thrived in the
ascendant in Ming and Qing Dynasty.

   When darkness closes in on
the earth, the drumbeats ring out, thenacts of life tragicomedy were played out
under the dim light, either brandished swords and spears to fight, stamped one’s
foot and beated one’s breast in expression of regret; or speeded across the sky
like a god who mounted the clouds and rode the wist danced trippingly, all with
out exception were remarkably true to life. The figures either were napped and
soundly sleeping, or wielded writing brush and life-like. Music、lamplight\supporting
singer\aside, what a busy place! Kiosks and towers \carriages and horses\flags!
Personality and identity, which each has his own merits. Ss it is said, “One
mouth can sing the drama through the ages, Two hands dance out the spectacle of
million soldiers”, Shadow Play is actually the originator of film and TV field.
The great poet Johann wolfgang von Goethe honored it as “The living fossil of
the world film; the ancestor of
